Des amis nous ont invités, Charlotte et moi au concert de La Chanson du Dimanche hier soir au Bataclan. Clément et Alexandre étaient venu il y a quelques mois nous chanter leurs chanson en privé à l’hôtel le temps de quelques photos. Mais hier soir, ils ont remplis le Bataclan (1500 places), pour les fans, ils recommencent ce soir, le concert est un peu tôt (19h30), mais vous pouvez arriver plus tard (20h30) la première partie n’ayant aucun intérêt.
Ces deux énergumènes sont véritablement doués pour donner « la pèche ». En un peu plus de deux ans, ils ont prouvé qu’ils étaient capables de faire du bruit sur Internet, aujourd’hui ils terminent une tournée de concerts et signent un album. Le concept est pourtant simple : ne pas se prendre au sérieux et sortir une chanson par semaine improvisée autour de l’actualité de la semaine et du même accord de guitare.

‘La chanson du dimanche’ in concert
Some friends invited Charlotte and me to the concert of La Chanson du Dimanche last night at the Bataclan. The two members of this band, Clément and Alexandre, came to the hotel a few months ago to give us a private rendition of their repertoire and to pose for a couple of photos. But last night, they filled up the 1500 seats of the Bataclan and their fans can also see them tonight. The concert starts a bit early (7.30pm), but you can turn up a bit later (8.30pm) since the opening act is not worth hurrying for.
These two crazy characters really do have a gift for lifting your spirits. In just over two years, they have proved that they are capable of generating a buzz on the Internet, and today they are finishing a tour of concerts and are bringing out an album. The concept is simple: not to take themselves too seriously and to release an improvised song each week revolving around the week’s news and always based on the same guitar chords.
