Blog, Site Institutionnel etc…

The hotel’s website and blog, etc.
For the past 2 years now Le Mathurin has offered its guests a relatively simple website allowing them to find out some of the hotel’s services, book a room, and see photos of the hotel.
2 years, 19 extra rooms, a Private Spa Nuxe, and a conference room later, our website is no longer up to date. With the help of the communication agency O Cédille and the agency that manages our web visibility (Inmédiatic), I have decided to completely overhaul the hotel website. A new graphic chart and a permanently monitored and evaluated web positioning will allow the hotel (I hope so in any case…) to remain as independent as possible.
Not long ago, we contacted Florence Chevalier (Operational Director) and our other service providers to find new solutions to market the hotel in a less autodidactic way and with the help of booking centres who would give us client databases counting several million people (SLH, Preferred Hotels, Exclusive Hotels, Authentic Hotels). In the end I preferred to save on the astronomical sums demanded by these providers (except for Authentic Hotels, which is free) to continue to develop my concept of ‘the luxury of feeling at home’. So I am going to try to continue to apply this concept which is dear to me by proposing a new, original and appealing website for our prospective clients via the Internet.
I will also continue to post my articles on the blog ‘Le Rendez vous du Mathurin’ because I believe that it is a good way to communicate about the hotel profession in France and abroad (my hotel included of course). I will talk about cultural, gastronomic and hotel events and perhaps extend the scope of my blog to other topics that I think may be of interest to readers.
