En 2010, Carole Georges, alors Directrice Artistique en agence de publicité, et Jean-François Dumont, qui lui œuvre au Ministère du Travail, quittent Paris pour reprendre cette Manufacture française fondée en 1898. L’affaire familiale, qui depuis quatre générations s’inscrit dans la pure tradition de la Faïence de Nevers, trouve rapidement un nouveau souffle. Les étagères et les registres contenant moules et décors vieux d’un siècle voient arriver nouvelles formes et ornements. Le couple en émulation artistique constante, collabore également avec d’autres créateurs sur des projets nourrissant leur relation étroite avec l’Art Contemporain. De Nevers à Paris, de Paris à New York, chaque pièce fabriquée est une œuvre unique, façonnée par Monsieur et décorée par Madame.

In 2010, Carole Georges, then Artistic Director for an advertising agency, and Jean-François Dumont, who worked at the Ministry of Employment, left Paris to take over the reins at this French manufacturing company, founded in 1898. This family business, which is entirely devoted to the pure traditional earthenware of Nevers, quickly found a new lease of life. The moulds and decorations which had sat on the shelves and in the archives for the best part of a century saw the arrival of new shapes and ornaments. The couple, whose artistic direction is constantly evolving, also work with other designers, nourishing their close relationship with the world of contemporary art. From Nevers to Paris, from Paris to New York, each item is a unique work of art, shaped by him and decorated by her.
